When can I take my practical test? First you need to pass your theory test. You can’t book the practical test until you have your theory test pass certificate. Then you need to be ready for the test. Once you have covered the syllabus and your driving is nearly up to test standard, your ECPC instructor will take you through the test procedure and you’ll do mock tests and other practices. There’s normally a waiting time of around 4 to 8 weeks for a test slot, so we’ll advise you when to book to have the best chance of passing. It’s really important to keep up your lessons and practice while you’re waiting for test day.
